Some little NPC paper cutouts I made for a campaign I ran a long while back. The campaign kinda fell apart as they often do, but it was fun while it lasted.

It took place in totally-not-mesopotamia/medieval middle-east. The sky is an ocean from whence all rainfall originates, known as the Sea Above, and the stars in the night sky are the soldiers that guard it. The valley suffered from unnaturally intense floods, and stars were seen falling from the night sky. The players explored the valley and investigated the worrisome events that were occurring.

The party consisted of a kleptomaniac plant person necromancer, a tough but unlucky Maharal warrior, and fireball slinging man who had the ability to turn into a bear who could also sling fireballs. It was pretty fun, I miss it a lot.
