I wanted to make this a bit more regular; hopefully I'll have the next part up within the week.
Beyond the growth scene I really wasn't quite sure what to do here. :D Apparently I don't know Abe nearly as well as I thought I did. Ah well, there's certainly time to get him right. Quick poll: What do you guys think should happen next? Should Abe seek answers from Topher, or see if the town needs help, or sit tight and watch over his farm?
As always, constructive criticism is appreciated. I'm still learning the ropes here.

Wow, very nice squirmy descriptions of growth and increasing power. brilliantly done. I need to write more to tweak you right back :)
As much as i'd love to see Abe head to town and interact with the suddenly smaller town, the more plausible scenario is staying at the farm to keep an eye on his property

But thanks, the growth scene is one of my absolute favorites to write -- as you can probably tell. ;) Thankfully there'll be a lot more where that came from! I'm leaning towards having him stay put as well; this'll give me a chance to lay down the topography of the farm and get Abe used to his new size by the time Johnathan comes home.

One of the best-described growths I've ever read. Awesome job on it. Glad to see you're updating the story a little more often as well.
I'd really like to see him head into the city for some advice, but for now the best course might be to stay on the farm (and possibly grow some more ^_^ )
