Apparently Greer is not a big fan of poachers. In fact, letting him catch you in the act of poaching is pretty much a guaranteed way to end up smothered under his supple snake soles until you turn blue in the face and expire. This poachy bastard is still in the struggling stage of his execution-by-python-feet, but soon that squirming will stop and that arm will drop and nature will have claimed another victim.

It's just a theory, but I don't think those brown markings on Greer are stripes - I think they're kill notches.
