$10 for a wrench and socket I forgot to bring cause I fixed it in the parking lot at work
and a little over $400 for the alignment and to find out the other side was shot along with a wheel bearing

I was actually making a run out to get some food while on my lunch break. it rolled kinda normal after I knew it was broke and went to dump it in the parking lot and then shit just got funny. I plowed it across the parking lot, front wheel jammed, squealing, and grinding that tie rod into the ground.

Thats the best way to end a tie rods life. In the ground lol.

lol that's almost exactly what I paid for it 5 years ago. dealer fees, tax, and license plate included.
best part is this is the second time I'm replacing the tie rods. and the other side was so bad, my shop couldn't just do an aliment. also it may have been the cause of that wheel bearing going out as well. I was moving when it snapped.

Hell, even of you lose your brakes you can go slow but you at least need to be able to steer...
