Millianna was in her room at the Mermaid Heel guild hall when she heard a knock at her door. She stood up and walked over, frowning curiously. None of her guildmates bothered to knock, just poked their heads in to tell her whatever she needed to know. She opened the door and looked around. No one there. Then she looked down and found a green box with a pink ribbon wrapped around it and a small white paper tag. She picked it up and looked at the tag. It simply said 'From Pana'. She frowned harder. She'd never heard of anyone by that name.

She tugged on the ribbon to open the package and looked inside. What she saw brought a smile to her face as she pulled out a small mouse toy, with big floppy ears and a comical red nose. She giggled and squeezed it, eliciting a squeak from it. "I wonder if this is from Rohn..." She mused, taking it back into her room and tossing the box on her desk to get rid of later. "Weird that he wouldn't leave his name." She didn't notice a nebulous green haze starting to generate around the seemingly innocuous toy. She set it down on the bed to enjoy later. At that point, the green haze formed into a hand, which reached out and wrapped around her head, causing her to freeze. She turned around, eyes now a swirling vortex of white and green. She crouched down, reaching forward and taking the toy in her hand again, squeezing it and eliciting another squeak. As she did so, a yellowish glow began to generate in her forehead and begin to snake down, through her head, neck and arm to reach the toy. The toy began to glow as well, grey beneath the green, sending the grey radiance up into the catgirl to replace the yellow.
