Oh, okay. Since she's feline, I'd say she looks more like a dinofelis. (I've created a species that has the elongated canines of the dinofelis for a story I'm uploading to my FA page.) Of course, she could be a young smilodon. LOL.

No problem. Your character is what you say she is. It's that simple. It doesn't matter what I, or anyone else thinks she is, she is what YOU say she is. LOL. (I hope you weren't offended by what I wrote. I tend to be a bit, uh, short sometimes. But, it isn't intentional; I just don't realize it when I'm doing it.)

BTW, the dinofelis was one of the first sabre-toothed cats. They lived about 4 million years ago about the same time as the australopithecus and, it is believed, preyed on them. They had relatively short sabre-teeth, only going down to the bottom of the lower jaw, and rather robust bodies, similar in general shape to the infamous smilodon. I used the dinofelis as the basis of two feline species in a story I'm posting to my FA account page. (I just thought I'd give you a bit of background on the dinofelis (terrible cat)).

Yes, I learned about the dinofelis by watching a BBC mini-series called "After the Dinosaurs: Walking with Prehistoric Beasts", although I believe I had heard of them before that show.
