I've been playing Grandia again. I love that game. It's the best ever.

Guy's like twelve years old or something, and does a twenty-something chick enough times to have about seven kids running around; I don't think your fantasizing of this particular character is really conflicting with his own desires

I think what gives fictional crushes so much longevity is that the characters never change. For this reason, they never really lose whatever qualities made you fall for them to begin with. You can grow out of them maybe, but... well, suffice it to say I'm almost 25 and I really haven't grown out of any of mine!
This seriously has the best battle system and story ever. It easily beats any other game out there and Grandia will always be my favorite RPG and game =D The first is also the best one of the entire series and the leveling system in it makes the battles even more fun ^^

Who's to say it would be on the PS3? It could be on the 360 as well, Star Ocean will be after all :X
I just wouldn't want to see anyone pay £300 for a games console just for one game especially if theres a chance it could come out on a cheaper format.
Obviously nothing has ever been said about a remake or a seuqel it's just speculation but all the same, one can hope.
I'm gonna see if i can't get my hands on a PS1 copy of grandia on amazon at some point.

Oh hey, I just saw this. You made him so cute! I have Grandia before I got all the way up to some large optional dungeon near the end and.. for some reason lost interest. I don't know why exactly, I just kinda got distracted and stopped playing. I should finish it sometime, huh. But I don't remember anything about the story or anything now...
Yeah, I think I quit because I didn't like the random battles in that dungeon and how inconvenient it all was to get out and in if I needed to get supplies. I should finish it. I played Grandia 2 and finished it but I'll admit that while I didn't dislike the game, I was unimpressed. It felt very.. flat. Haven't played 3 though.
