(I have an affinity for dark characters, oops - I hope somebody likes him enough to give him a good home though x( )

What makes you think just because you don't see art on the person's profile that they do not 'use' him? I personally have a lot of OCs myself that I do not have much art of, that doesn't mean I do not use them or do not love them and draw them every once in a while. I find this very disrespectful towards the owner of the design. Maybe you should remind yourself that not everybody uses the internet as a gallery for purchased art.
