( Finished yesterday but I wanted to wait for a better time to post it! )

The day's come and gone, and with it comes the 2016 picture for Artemis! :D
I always like looking back at these. Seeing what I learned between each, what my focuses for the year was, and so forth. This year I was pushing myself in the area of atmosphere, colour, and different drawing techniques!
For this year's drawing, I drew inspiration from some other paintings that I did that I found really helped define and guide the styles I wanted to experiment with.
It's nice to be able to see what I can do come each year...and even looking back at that first 2010 drawing, geeze what a skill jump!

This year was really rough for me, but i'm glad to be able to make it to this day. I look forward to the future 2017 drawing, and I promise i'll be trying my best to get into a better place.

Thank you Artemis. I've made it this far and I can keep going.
