I never really got the chance to pay back Doctorishere for essentially being the reason why I started writing in the first place. Since I couldn't possibly write something based on characters I don't fully understand, as I'd just fuck it up, I decided to do something else as a gift for him. I decided to remake his story in my own style, while following his original tale. I took his draft and expanded upon it, without trying to deviate too much. This was his very first story, and the very first story I modeled myself after when I wanted to start writing.
He might think his written work is crap, but it's really not. It was good enough to make me years ago get off my ass...ok sit on my ass...and do something instead of just watch hidden from a metaphorical closet. Back then I was a scared teen, but now I'm a more paranoid adult....well that's sort of an upgrade I guess. I still owe him a once in a lifetime, will likely never do again, stupid yaoi OTP in joke fanfiction. Which will be mature filtered.
For now though, I put my writing skills back to work to honour what was essentially what started me off in the first place. It's my gift to the guy who was the first artist/writer I actually started to talk to, even if we started off somewhat bad. We got a whole lot better later though, which is why I felt the need to do something for my friend who did a lot for me, just from one short story to start it all.

Hungry Beginnings
(BASED ON THE STORY THAT KICKED OFF MY ACCOUNT)
It was a beautiful evening outdoors. The sun was setting pleasantly, the sea water left a lovely smell in the air, and the sand felt a little cool between the young fox’s toes. No nefarious doctor to fight. No evil god monsters to wreck havoc on the world. The only somewhat downer was that it was a little cold outside during this lovely evening. Tails took this calming stroll to enjoy the peace he was given. The beach was located close to his cosy home and workshop. The amber colored fox cub decided he could use a break from being cooped up inside his living quarters all day for most of every week.
After coming outside for only a couple of minutes or so, a little grumbly sound came from his white furred tummy. “Ah man, I probably should have eaten something before coming here.” He placed a hand on his stomach, then looked out to the calming sun which almost disappeared into the horizon. He sighed lightly. “I guess I should go home” He thought to himself. He whirled his twin tails around like helicopter blades, and casually flew on home. He was a little too hungry to rush himself.
Tails arrived at his home and landed himself on the welcome mat. He brushed his sandy soles against the mat, and unlocked his front door with his tails. He figured it’d be easier to lock pick his own door, rather than carry a key in his gloves or shoes. The plucky inventor strolled on over to his fridge and cracked it open to get some dinner. His expression sagged when he noticed all he had was just some old bread and an apple juice box. It was better than nothing he felt, and scarfed it down in a brief period of time.
While finishing off his apple juice, the door bell rang upfront. “Huh, I don’t remember inviting any guests.” Tails thought to himself as he marched on towards the front door, throwing the juice box in the garbage on his way there. He looked through the peep hole to see Silver of all people standing around. “What does Silver want to see me for?” Tails contemplated that thought in his head like a series of equations. He couldn’t really come to any conclusions beyond basic needs, as Silver doesn’t visit him really at all, considering he’s from the future.
He had opened the door as he did all those calculations in his head. “Silver? What you doing here around this hour? If you don’t mind me asking, you don’t really come by often to say hello.” Silver looked a little upset about something, and deep down in his gut, Tails knew he’d likely end up having to do him a favour.
Silver had stared at Sonic’s little brother for a while before having the nerve to speak. “It’s about Blaze.” He had said with a little saddened expression on his face. “We got into a little fight, and well, we may not be such good friends anymore.” Silver didn’t yet have the nerve to tell Tails just what exactly they fought about, as it was over something pretty stupid. “Is it alright if I stay over here for a bit?”
The smart young fox boy thought for a brief moment on why Silver came to him, though after a little thought it was pretty obvious. Amy likely would have tried to fish for the goods or give some relationship advice, Rouge would have been even nosier than that, and everyone else didn’t really have a nice living condition, or personality. “Yeah I guess that’s ok.” Tails had responded. He took a little pride in being the best person to lay low with. After all if he’s not adventuring with Sonic, Tails gets pretty lonely working alone by himself.
Silver smiled a little and nodded. “Thanks for taking me in.” He took off his shoes and left them at the front door under the coat hanger. Tails decided to show him around, though looking at that coat hanger for a moment he had to wonder, why did he bother making it if practically no one including himself uses it. He had a puzzled look on his face while just thinking about it.
“Come on let me show you around.” Tails said with a warm smile on his face. Silver merely nodded in agreement since he didn’t feel like talking too much. Silver followed the twin tailed sidekick as he showed him the lab, the tornado hanger, a couple of pictures from previous adventures, as well as a couple of nice looking rooms Tails never actually uses. He merely forgets to do anything with them. Tails ended up enjoying himself and his company far more than Silver did, as he ended up bored pretty quickly, but didn’t want to rudely turn down his gracious host.
“And this is where you will be sleeping Silver.” Tails said as he gestured to Silver’s temporary room. The room had a small bed and a table in it. Truth be told, it looked so plain and simple as that’s how Sonic liked it. He’d occasionally stay there when he wasn’t sleeping in the wilderness or where ever that supersonic hobo would rest. Luckily Tails had that bed cleaned up after every Sonic visit, or it would smell from Sonic’s constant journeying.
Silver looked around the room and was a bit let down. For the technological genius that was Tails, he expected a more futuristic looking room filled with gadgetry. Though from his point of view, anything would look extravagant from his time in the actual future. In his current situation, Silver would take whatever he could get. “Ok thanks.” Silver muttered unintentionally impolitely to the young fox. Tails was a little bit miffed at that tone, but probably attuned it to Silver’s rough time. So he smiled and didn’t hold it against the hedgehog.
The tour continued on and Silver was getting a little tired, as well as taking a tour he never really had much interest in to begin with. It wasn’t personal though. He let out a large yawn, and thought of a way to get out of the tour. “You mind if I go to sleep early? I’m getting a little tired.” Silver said as he rubbed his eyes, which watered a little bit.
“Huh?...Oh um, sure.” Tails replied. Silver did look pretty exhausted, though Tails was a bit disappointed. His first social interaction with a friend in a long while, and he didn’t get to enjoy it for more than just short of an hour. He only did it to himself by not getting out of his house more often to visit his friends.
A couple of hours pass after Tails and Silver parted ways for the night, and Tails just couldn’t sleep. His stomach constantly growled and turned so much, that his poor empty belly was really starting to hurt. “Oh why did I not go and pick up those groceries before, tuning up the Tornado 4. All the restaurants are closed, and my stomach hurts too much to let me quickly go to a convenience store.” His hands continued to clutch his stomach as it continued to cause him pain. He then thought that maybe Silver could go for him so he doesn’t collapse while trying to get a snack.
Tails limped on over to Silver’s room, and carefully opened the door. A little creaking sound uttered from the wooden door, as it slowly let a little light in the room from the hallway. Before Tails could open his mouth, his stomach growled even louder. “Ow! Oh man it hurts so much right now. Just gotta get to Silver.” He inched on closer and closer to Silver, about to try to wake him up. “If I don’t eat something, I think I’m gonna die.” Tails thought to himself. He then came closer to the bed, and Silver looked different upon inspection.
Silver suddenly looked a lot more delicious. He looked like the most delicious thing Tails had ever seen in his life. This was probably just his imagination talking, or perhaps his primal fox instinct taking control. He was of an omnivorous species. The young fox cubs’ mouth began to water as a little drool hit the carpet he stood on. “No I couldn’t.” Tails thought to himself and wiped his mouth. His stomach then argued back by hurting him some more. “He’s my friend.” Tails told his brain. However in the end both his stomach and brain had won out. His body demanded he cave into his barbaric predator nature his kind was originally born to have.
“Well, we’re not THAT close friends.” Tails pondered with a smirk on his face. “I guess I could... eat him.” Tails couldn’t believe he actually had these thoughts. He continued thinking just how horrible this was, and yet he was going to do it. While thinking of how wrong this was, he already crawled onto the bed and sat on the pillow Silver wasn’t laying on. His stomach strangely enough eased up on the pain as he gave into his newfound desire to eat one of his friends.
Tails carefully lifted Silvers head off the pillow he had slumbered on. He gave Silver’s head a brief lick, and both their fates were sealed. After tasting the silver hedgehog, he had to have him now. Tails jaws parted slowly as he gently placed Silver’s head into his maw, which then bulged out his cheeks like a ballon. He was so delicious, or at least that’s what the inventor’s brain told him to keep the fox from backing out. The fox cub licked slowly across Silver’s face, which caused the hedgehog to have a little reaction. Tails was alarmed, but he wasn’t going to stop now. He just decided to not do that again til Silver was further down his gullet, and allow Silver to settle down inside him.
The twin tailed genius took his very first swallow of his prey, and felt Silver’s head bulge out his throat as it slowly traveled down to the fox’s paunch. Tails then woke up back in reality for a moment to realize that he was actually able to do this, and quite easily in fact. Silver’s head had fit in his mouth, and he had just felt the hedgehogs head travel down his throat as if he had been born to do this. Tails had felt like he had just awakened a part of him that he didn’t know even existed. Perhaps it was a mutant trait of his beyond just being a fox. Didn’t matter though as he grew to like this feeling.
The amber sneaky fox continued devouring his meal as he next slid in Silver’s shoulders, followed by his chest. Silvers head at this moment began to poke into his stomach, causing his furry belly to expand. Tails purred at the feeling as finally he got to eat something satisfying. That old bread and apple juice just wouldn’t cut it. He placed a hand on his little belly bulge and poked it playfully.
Tails swallowed up to Silver’s stomach quickly, and began to pull the hedgehog out of bed with a firm grip. The twin tailed fox tilted his head up as Silver’s stomach headed to the back of his throat, to aid in swallowing down his soon to be former friend turned meal. He cleverly used gravity to help keep Silvers descent to be as smooth as possible. However Tails couldn’t help but get some licks in to enjoy himself, which almost made Silver wake up. Perhaps another time he could enjoy his meals like this, but now was too risky. Tails then thought to himself that he could actually picture doing this again. This should not be a reoccurring habit, and yet, he might not be able to stop himself from trying this with someone else next time.
Silver’s legs dangled outside of the fox boy’s mouth, which he adoringly slurped up like noodles, all with a smile on his face. Tails slurped and gulped more and more, which caused his belly to sag and bloat. That little tubby bulge he used to have now was becoming the size of a massive bean bag chair. Soon only Silver’s bare feet remained outside Tails’ greedy maw. He licked Silvers soles for only a moment, but murred pleasantly. So delicious Tails had thought, as his tongue lapsed against Silver’s soles.
Tails then tilted his head back one last time, and swallowed happily with a little gulp sound. He let out a very pleased sigh and placed a hand on his belly once more. There was no turning back now, and at this point, Tails didn’t really want to. His eyes then suddenly perked a little as his tummy felt a bit funny. Suddenly he flinched and erupted a massively loud wet belch from his maw. His stomach had been coated with some of his bile from that sudden belch, which Tails didn’t seem to mind. It really felt good to let that stomach pressure out. He could taste Silver again on his tongue after burping, which was a plus as well.
“Ah that feels a lot better.” Tails said to himself and chuckled innocently. “I’m gonna have to sleep here tonight. I’m too tired to move.” Tails then continued to lovingly stroke his fat stomach bulge, and line his fingers against Silver’s imprinted form. He let out a couple smaller belches with a blissful smile across his face.
Tails laid back and closed his eyes, as his belly hung over his legs and feet. He listened to the gurgles, glorps, and churning sounds of his belly as a lullaby, to prepare to sleep off his meal. Right when he was about to sleep, he heard something from within him. Tails started to feel some movement from Silver. It was far too late for the hedgehog though. Tails enjoyed this so much, he wasn’t going to give up his meal for nobody.
“Ah, what a nice...” Silver suddenly felt the damp contained space he was in and paused. His hands pressed against the stomach walls he was confined in. “Hey where am I?” He said with a frightened tone as he tried to struggle and get out of where he was. Unfortunately for him, there was no getting out of his new bedroom.
“Oh, so you’re awake now huh?” Tails said confused. Silver was supposed to remain asleep for the rest of the night. He really should have kept asleep so he wouldn’t have to see what comes next. Tails thought Silver really was unlucky. First the future, then Blaze, and now helping feed his own hunger. He probably would have rejected if he were awake, and which would have left Tails really hungry and moody.
“Tails is that you?” Silver said as he began to struggle fruitlessly. “Tails where am I? Why can I hear you? Why can’t I move?!” Silver then started to shout as he was disliking his confinement. He struggled more which caused Tails to purr happily. It felt so good to feel the hedgehog struggle in his belly. All that fighting was like a pleasant massage.
“Well to tell you the truth” Tails then suddenly belched again pretty loudly, and then rubbed the back of his head embarrassed. “You’re in my stomach.” Tails said all calmly and like an innocent fox. The creepy thing was he started treating the entire situation like it was no big deal at all, and it was just some ordinary occurrence.
“WHAT!..HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME!” Silver said angrily and filled with dread. He came to Tails for help, and now the kid had ended up helping himself by eating him. What was wrong with this boy?
Tails shrugged and continued to treat the predicament lightly. “That’s not really important.” Tails dismissed Silver’s concerns and stroked his belly happily some more. Silver could feel Tails take too much pleasure in eating him, and just grew angrier. Tails then laid back with his eyes closed. “Let’s just say I was hungry, and leave it at that ok?” The foxboy chuckled a little and let out a moan and belch, as he went back to enjoying his meal.
“Hey...HEY LET ME OUT OF HERE!” Silver yelled at the top of his lungs. It’s no use though. Tails full belly had lulled the fox cub into a deep sleep as his stomach prepared to do what it did to all the food Tails had eaten. The digestion process started slowly and began to tingle Silver’s fur.
All that was heard from outside the guest room was some peaceful snoring, loud gurgling from Tails stomach, and the faint voice of Silver yelling for help. No one was coming though, and both their lives were about to be drastically changed forever.
