Thought folks might like to see the pencils for the next dragon in the elemental set. This is of course, the earth dragon. Those of you with a keen eye will notice I've based him loosely on a Horned Lizard. Looking forward to painting this tomorrow! Hmm guess I'm going to have to settle on an idea for the air dragon.....

nice pose, and the dunes look very real so far. :) I like how he's looking out over the desert.

air dragon... what about a thin, snake-ish critter with flukes and flaps instead of wings?

Perhaps you could base it on a hoatzin: they're pretty primeval-looking already - and a feathery dragon would make a nice variation..... 7@=e
