This is my first attempt at making a fursuit head! I waited until it was out of it's terrifying bucket phase before I decided to share photos! I think it's turning out alright for my first try! I think I have to add more to the eyebrows and redefine the nose a little. This will be my character Bailey!
This is also my first attempt at eyes! I think they turned out okay. HOWEVER, the follow-me effect didn't work exactly, and they're too feminine for Bailey, and I didn't make them out of foam and buckram like I wanted to (Instead they're "pet screen" and construction paper). This was only my first attempt, and they were more of an experiment than a finished product. Once I get a few bucks I hope to order some buckram for the screening and go and get some foam for the rest.
(P.S. I almost never see bunny fursonas or fursuits and it makes me sad because I LOVE bunnies!)

Bunny fursuits are rare indeed! As least from my experience. I can't wait to see more of this, because for a first attempt, it's looking great! I remember my first attempt haha, it was too shameful to show, but the first i'll be ordering everything, and posting WIP pictures every step of the way!
Oh yes, and it's a pretty big commitment to take! Not only do you need to buy the materials to create it but afterwards, you need to take into consideration care products as well as future repair should anything happen by accident. But it's worth it!! Fursuits last a very, VERY long time when properly made and care for. 16+ years i've heard many say and prove, plus the experience is well worth it. <3
Unfortunately for me, i had NO clue what i was doing with my first suit, annnd i wear glasses. So I could not see! My glasses fogged up and just ugh. Plus i didn't know how to properly dry my fursuit head and foot paws sooo in the end, they ended up smelling and that's just gross, PLUS the material i used for the eyes fell out because i got water in them. :c So now i have this messed up suit that doesn't smell like roses. ;w; SO that's another motivation for me to try again and ALL year i have been doing nothing but research, fur scraps from my last try have been used to test things on, and it turned out good so YAY for fun facts! I learned TONS from my first try, and will take every measure to be certain this suit lasts a very long time. Especially since it's my fursona. gosh.

That's awesome! It's good to research and experiment before you try things for real! Good luck on your second attempt! I hope one day I'll be good enough that people might want to commission suit parts and maybe even whole suits from me! But, that seems to be a long ways away! I'm just experimenting right now!
