Lups has been a character of mine for a long long time. I first played him in the Star Wars room on WBS chat rooms back in 1998. He was inspired by the Wraith Squadron novels by Michael Stackpole. In the novels, there was an experiment created by the Imperial Warlord Zisnj called Project Chubar. It's the same place that Wraith squadron pilot Piggy came from.

Zsinj commissioned project leader Tuzin Gast to create a few elite soldiers for his personal use. Lups ended up being one of them, one of only two gungans to survive the process that changed him into a cyborg assassin. When Wraith squadron caused the project to go south, Lups was on a mission, but he killed his caretakers and went into hiding for a time. But he had to keep himself fed and maintained, so he pretty much just became a bounty hunter. In the RP room there was a problem with a bunch of wannabe sith, so he decided to specialize in killing them after taking some training from a Dark Force user academy called the Fenites. Lups never had any Force ability, but he did learn some of the weaker tactics that Force Users in general employ and how to exploit them. Unfortunately, Lups is one of the few character i actually had killed, because I was dumb enough to RP him having a girlfriend for a time, but when he broke up with her, she went all nuts and killed him. Don't date dark jedi. Lups was never a very happy character but I wish I hadn't let him go out like that.
Lups' enhancements include chemical adrenal enhancers, reinforced skeletal structure. His left arm is a complete replacement, and much stronger than any average humanoid. They coated his teeth in titanium to give him a nasty bite. the most important enhancement was his cyber eye, which has a smartgun link to all his weapons for target enhancement, as well as a mini tactical computer. In a tight pinch, he could destruct the eye and fire a single blaster shot out of it at a target. The gungan style energy shield he picked up later.
