I dont know what it is about Boarderlands. For me, the whole franchise is a huge turnoff in general. The design, the gameplay motivation, the setting. It all irks me in some odd way. I've given it some hours to try and get into it. Especially the multiplayer aspect.

Hey. There many reasons to like and hate a game. At least you gave it a chance but unfortunately it wasn't suitable to your tastes. It's alright, there plenty of other games for you to try =)

A friend of our gaming group had to stop playing that game because it was messing him up. I don't know if it was the field of view or the graphics but apparently it was very painful for him to play it.

Have you tried the second game of Borderlands? Personally I believe Borderlands 2 is superior in every fields of it's predecessor.

Played em all. Boyfriend loves them, but I really cant get into them. It's not the first person perspective that bugs me or anything like that. It's the actual art style and characters and attitude, and overall setting that just annoys me. I tried putting that aside to enjoy a game with my friends, but the gameplay and loot based motivation also bored the hell out of me in under 2 hours. Something about it just tastes so hollow. and I cant put my finger on it.
