While I am not certain as to the true meaning to this art piece... I can at least say what I am seeing, and I usually feel like that a lot of the times: I yearn for my creations to escape my mind and form into the physical realm of our own, so I can be with them, and them with me. The feeling usually goes deeper than that as well, where I constantly wish I can just escape into the universe I create with in my mind, and enjoy the wondrous freedom of my own realms. I can go on, but I will not, for it will lead me to rambling. :/
ANYWAYS... excellent work! Love it to pieces! :D

I think we all know exactly what you mean Sheik. The worlds we create are places where we feel safe, and the characters people we feel safe being absolutely open with, baring our souls so to speak. They're things that, barring an unimaginably fortunate few, we'll never get to experience. And knowing that is what makes the thought of leaving this all behind so appealing to so many.
I remember seeing a youtube video like this, same scenario but it was a guy on one end and girl on the other, the guy kept on punching the glass to try to get to the girl, so basicly what renamon was doing is what the video was, but it got taken down so its poofed but the feelings in this photo are very strong <3
I love your work. I only make account to comment your Pictures. You are my motivate to draw Furry, and Renamon of course, she is so pretty. I always wanted to give you subscription on Patreon, but i can't, i'm pretty young so... no money. I hope you gonna draw forever, then i can find work and give you this subscription. for You and for Renamon !
I just quickly went threw these comments, and i dont think anyone noticed the writing on the glass is this on the wrong side... or she wrote it backwards already.
it would hit sooo much harder if it was backwards for us and had to read it from right to left. . . that would mean that she herself indeed wrote it T.T

Cool piece...
Brings up a lot of interesting ideas.
The line between fantasy and reality, and our emotional investment in our fantasy worlds is interesting.
It's interesting how poignant and "Real" the worlds we create in our minds can be...
*Places hand on screen* -Sorry, Rena... I know how you feel...

Conclusion: A digital copy (or 'Digiman') can be constructed with in-franchise methods, but the original would live separately.
The DNA molecule is a chemical 'program' made of four amino acids that interact with each other in fixed ways. A sequenced genome would translate as a program written in a base-four program language. The amino acids bond in only two combinations, but a direct binary translation would be disastrous. The pairs must separate during cell division, and cell division is needed to built a high-fidelity body.
Digimon specialists would be necessary to determine what data packets accurately represent amino acid chemistry. Those packets would then be assigned appropriate numerical value. The genome program would be translated to binary equivalent. The Digi-specialists could give appropriate 'age' by speeding program cycles.
and That would be the way to get a hi-fi (albeit digitally inefficient) Digiman 'ganger body.
Supplementary code would need to be applied to the program memory to make it 'you'. Another entry on that later.

I see this in two ways, One being that this is Rika's Renamon, who took not being able to return to her friend and little sister figure rather hard. It got to the point that when she found herself on Rika's computer, she was a shadow of the Hardcore warrior she used to be, and in a moment of hysteria, tried to breach the barrier to the real world via the computer, to the point that she actually started to bleed from the knuckles, something that would be impossible for a Digimon on the Digital Plains. Rika would return to her computer, to find her old partner on the otherside of the screen having scratched the message onto the barrier, telling her that she wants her back in her life.
The other way is already mentioned by quite a few other comments above.

Ok I have a couple things to say:
1. This pic alone makes me think that Renamon (both canonically and AU's in which she dated all those who made a "I'm gonna save her"-Type comment for the exact same time she was Rika's partner in each AU) wants to return to the Real World because she didn't HAVE to fight everything that came within her reach there and she wants to be reunited with Rika/AU love interest (myself included).
2. I find it funny that in all the comments:
A. No one realizes that breaking the screen would mean PERMANENTLY closing Renamon's window into the Real World, thus breaking her heart due to making her think you don't feel the same way.
B. There are commenters that think she's a Yandere when the tears in her eyes show the cracks were caused do to a moment of desperation in wanting to be back in the Real World.
and C. No one in this list of comments has thought of using the "Johnny Test videogame to RL" device which's name I forgot to bring her to the real world (albeit it with the modification of giving her a physical body that doesn't turn back into code while letting her keep all her powers).

Actually, Johnny Test got that from TRON, a Movie which was made in 1982 before that Cartoon was even made. The device in TRON was known as the SHV 20905 Digitizing Laser, and can bring organic beings and digital beings to and from the Digital World.
And frankly, it's possible, since a character from TRON legacy became flesh and blood upon leaving the Grid. Not sure if Renamon would keep her Powers, though, but since she's anthro, I figure she would.

You see. Now this here is art. Its not about how many views you get or how well you shade (btw your shading skilz r on fleek) Its all about emotions. Sure the her phemanin figure is perfect and all but look beyond that. Doom ive been looking at your work for a while now. Especially on Renamon and ive seen a consistent pattern. THE EYES. Sooo many comments on the eyes. There not only beautiful. They are a strait path into her soul. They show EMOTION. Look at the comments. The majority of them are people saying that they want to help her and that they feel (emphasis on FEEL) sad for her. Again EMOTIONS. This is why I love your work Doom and why I cant get enough of it
