Haha wow, I appreciate the compliment, but alas, my technical skills are actually sorely lacking. I know this because this picture, as simple as it is, took me ages to draw. Really, it took a very long time, and I'm very dissatisfied with it. I'm going to practice though, because I'd really like to be able to just churn this kind of stuff out, and I think it would help my skill overall if I can get good at it.

Thanks! But I'm not sure about the training bit, who do you get to train you in something like that? I guess maybe if you go to school for architecture or something.
I don't mind trying to teach myself, all my favorite artists did that anyway.

Well it depends, if you just want to draw technical things that *look* good I guess you can just refer to actual blueprints and ust toss in addtional fantasy-ish stuff. Actual technical drawing that *works* would probably take forever in school, yeah... ^^;

Exspecially like the 'wings'. Was this modeled on a real vessel or is did you create it?

Thank you! :D I actually just took the basic shape of a cruise ship, then Google Image Searched airships and if I saw something I liked, I incorporated it. So it's not exactly original, but I like it. :)
