I just finished listening to this and I really enjoyed it. The songs are simple and have great keyboard melodies. Highlights for me were "Weather the Storm", "The Mourning" and "Towers of Light". I love the piano in "The Mourning"! It sounds great!
Then there are the liner notes...which was like the cherry on a sundae! I laughed so much reading them. I don't know if the introduction was the funniest or the notes for "Weather the Storm".
Then there's the fine print...for the longest time, I thought that Nick Grayson, Jake Shchavelsky and Maxi Tommy Trapton were actual band members/ friends of yours. You had me fooled for a long time. That fine print...I need to start reading more of that.
I'm definitely going to listen to this more than once, keeping in mind the liner notes for Weather the Storm.

This record was really about getting the simple stuff downpat, starting to build in musical variations in some places, though that was still needing work at times. "The Mourning" was a song which had a lot of re-production done to it, mostly with guitar and piano stuff.
The liner notes are always just a blast to write. I love giving the four guys different personalities, Pascal's the slightly unhinged, politically-motivated loon, Nick's the slightly numbly brained quiet guy, Jake is well educated and somewhat posh and then Tommy Trapton is basically a really enthusiastic gay male pornstar who conveniently plays drums in a band in order to get laid.
