Etched Brass Preview: Dark Tower-inspired Colt .45
FA-Exclusive sneak peeks of my new etched brass offerings. These will be available here first as semi-customs before I finish them and post them to Etsy and other sites. These can all be finished with your choice of copper or glowing projectile and ball or regular chain.
Inspired by my love of Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, I've taken the closest real-world equivalent to Roland's ammunition and etched them with phrases from the series as well as the ever important roses. Additionally, I've used a different technique to add patina to bring out the designs that has given them a more aged, weathered appearance.
1. "All Things Serve the BEAM"
2. "There are other worlds than these"
$25 each plus shipping

Thanks!
That's partly what inspired me, the movie coming soon, actually. I'm not thrilled about some of the casting choices- Matthew McConoughey, really?- but I'm willing to give it a shot. At least they got a good actor to play Roland, so it shouldn't be a total train wreck. And there no way it could possibly be as bad as Dreamcatcher. (I'm really hoping it's good and am trying to convince myself it will be, but I'm worried it'll suck HARD. I mean, they really cocked up the casting of Walter, an important character, so my confidence has severely waned.)
