I had recently visited a friend who moved into a place and who had also wanted artwork on the steps going down to her leatherworking studio (she's just starting out and is pretty amazing.) So, while someone else (my mom) did the other steps, I had painted the top step in a little bit of a steampunk style for the friend who is in possession of the preliminary sketch.

After the stairs were done, she decided that she wanted the other set of steps that were going up into the main level done the next time we were in town.
