Hiddson: Hello and welcome to another edition of Bandits Breakdown! Your one stop for all things Las Vegas Bandits! Brett Hiddson (ermine) here along with my co-host Terrence Thursday(wolf). Terry with preseason ending, it can only mean two things; that the UFFL is ready for another season, and more importantly, another new wave of Bandits Football!
Thursday: That's right, Brett. The week one kickoffs are just days away now, and Bandit nation is salivating for their football!
Hiddson: None more hungry than the Bandits themselves, Terry. Remember they were a game away from their first Furry Bowl appearance. But the New York Titans had other ideas. Now the Bandits have a few games marked on their calendars for the upcoming season as well as the desire to continue their quest for the championship.
Terry: You got that right, Brett. If the preseason games were anything to note, the Bandits have long wiped the stinging taste out of their muzzles and are more then ready to continue to make an impact on the season. Led by Sylvester Stapler, Coby Carson, Kelley Rowe, R.V.A., Terry Paige, and some new faces via the draft.
Hiddson: The Rookies, led by Drew Coleman, The Bandits first round pick hoping to add to an already robust defense along with third round pick Davonne McClendon.
Thursday: Lets not forget the second round pick, Raleigh Cooper, all the way from Alaska to show the ice in his veins with clutch kicks all season.
Hiddson: Right you are, Terry. Now lets hear from our third correspondent, Issabelle Holt (Lioness) with more on the outlook of the season. Issy.
Holt: Thanks, Brett. I'm here with Sylvester Stapler starting quarterback of the Bandits. Sylvester, Now a new season and another chance at getting the championship. Is this team ready for the next step.
Stapler: From what we've been through from last season and all the hard work we're still putting in since then, and I mean everyone has stepped up to better ourselves for the team. We just have to take things a game at a time and play Bandits football.
Holt: And what can you tell us about some of the newcomers to the league?
Stapler: Promising teammates. I'm sure the coaches will have things in mind for Drew and Dav's skill sets and Cooper has a good leg. We're all in this together and we'll need them as much as anyone else to answer the call if we want to take the next step.
Holt: Thanks, Sylvester. Say hi to Sylvia for me.
Stapler: Sure thing and thank you.
Holt: Back to you, Brett.
Hiddson: Thank you, Issy. We'll take a short break but when we return, Interviews from Kelly Rowe, Coby Carson, and Justin Brown. As well as our take on the upcoming season and our outlook on the Bandits first game against the Chicago Outlaws!
