These things take me a long time to develop but Id rather put out one piece per month that I'm happy with then 10 pieces that are just OK.
I think the few will leave far more of an impact in the long run.

At the very least I don't have to worry about other people getting to an idea before I do. I'm usually far behind the band wagon yet Ive never felt like others have made the most of it while it ran.

Or lack of boots to be precise! One of the fandom's greatest secrets... revealed false!? Or true!? Find out in this exciting development by our very own classic red fox... Footpaws! I think it's time I dig in nice and thoroughly, the whole idea being based around the mysterious nature of Fox McCloud's legs is rather inspiring. I also concur with Yaba up above in that there's a striking lack of art involving Star Fox, though there were a handful of images by Ximon a lifetime ago that I believe are still circling the web.

I cannot quite put my finger on it, but the way Leon is almost gently caressing Fox's feet is putting electric feelings through my brain! It seems rather soft and yet he's driving Fox mental, he has to be deathly sensitive, or way too tender from extended boot usage, probably because of weight-cushioning tech of some manner. The coloring as always is vibrant, Pigma seems rather enamored with the scent from McCloud's boots, I wouldn't be too surprised if he wanted to have a taste later with how much he's drooling! Wolf in the back seems rather pleased, hard not to enjoy seeing your greatest rival and "frenemy" under duress for extended periods thanks to your plan. I don't spy Panther Coroso here though, but I do spy Oikenny's ugly simian mug!

Andross as always is arrogant as ever, from what I remember his technology wasn't all that great, his "stealth squadrons" could stand to relearn the meaning of "stealth" for one! Anyway, I'm conflicted between wanting to see Fox rescued and getting some payback, and wanting Fox to stay and see what sort of wicked new methods of testing will occur and whether or nor Pigma will give into his apparent lust... Fox's predicament either way is going to last a while! Thanks for adding to the surprisingly scarce collection of his torment!

This is definitely pre Panther. He would be out of place in this shot anyway since everyone's role is being filled nicely and its a much more classic call back to the original content this way.
Leon has clearly had a lot of practice in the field of prisoner torment. Id say Foxes reaction is due to the overly protective nature of the boots he is now used to and while they are not on his feet they are still technically "New"!
Pigma will most likely sneak back in when no one else is about to satisfy his own curiosity's like the vile pervert that he is. By that point McCloud would have been tested to his limits and will have worked up quite a sweat.

I'm glad to be able to contribute once more to a niche that's always low on content and hoping that this becomes a classic for others to be inspired by and strive for towards.

That part about Pigma has my brain doing cartwheels at the thought... and aah, the classic team, before Starfox: Assault then. You know I wonder why Konami cannot get its act together and provide a proper sequel... if the original author isn't interested then someone else who is could do it. It cannot be that difficult... seriously, video game companies don't seem to understand their customer base half the time... and the nature of his boots, I did wonder if it was because of insulation or super-effective weight distribution through gel-layers or something, maybe ventilation too. Overall I'm glad to see this piece! I will be posting a couple of pictures soon, they're sadly not tickle-involved because finding artists I can throw money at is difficult but I do hope they offer historical significance and a bit of fool plate armored knightness, I'd actually appreciate a critique if you have the time! Another great piece to add to the starfox tickle collection. I probably would have preferred smooth padless soles, but it's cool. Padless soles are the most commonly used for the Starfox universe feet pics that I've seen.

Its a small collection but one Ive been meaning to put my own spin on for some time.

Using some deductive reasoning, Fox now wears full gloves to avoid the awkward looking pad-less fingers he used to have. On top of this, there is clearly a larger animal to humanoid mix then most might initially recognize having looked at Leons hand design too.
Removing Falco's boots, I would hope to see the classic avian style feet as well given how far his design has gone into keeping his hands more wing like in appearance, so to keep everything consistent I opted for pads to match those animalistic balances while having a slightly human like toe layout (just so you know I actually put some thought into this).

And of course last but not least I think pads suit him fine as if gives a fur-less surface to interact with ^^

I actually would like to see the part where Fox's feetpaws would have to withstand Pigma's licking. Make sure if you do we can see that saliva on his feetpaws. -/v/-

I think the way you handled this particular subject on Fox's feet is perfect, he should have claws and pads but of course always have the nice shape of paws at least at the most from what I seem to be looking at. If you ask me this is probably the best kind of starfox tickle theme picture and in general the showing off of his feetpaws. Oh. Its slightly human. Still perfect for the way it is. I really do think you did a good job. Plus Fox's feetpaws are better with a cream underside. I also have witnessed what the "A Fox in Space" did with this particular question. Its...pretty smirk worthy or even tiny chuckles and giggles worthy. I really don't think I have enough words to really express how his feetpaws look. Aaaaaaaannd how much a sequel picture of his feetpaws being licked either. >//v//<

I am starting to think you can literally bring feetpaws of a character that no one has really done at least a nice amount of art for this kind of theme of that character and then just smash it into the ground with a 10 point Hammer strike. And that says a lot on how you can just get it done right. And THAT is to be appreciate. I really look forward to more you make! If there was something I had to ask is "Why do you prefer human feet when you draw the complete opposite and make it absolutely marvelous with feetpaws?" it just feels like you clearly like feetpaws and not human feet as much. But aaaaaaaahhhh its you I am questioning and I shouldn't really be. If its unexplainable then its like deeply ingrained and well...you just like it better. X3

There's no shortage of McClouds feet out there (particularly on the macro scene it would seem for some reason ) but despite that, I'm always happy to put my own spin on things.
I guess with careful planing and a lot of research you just need to take the right approach to make it stand out against the others.

I like human feet because they are real! But they also make up the base for all plantigrade anthro feet by default.
I draw footpaws because that's what I have to do as a furry artist. The characters wouldn't look right if I didn't and I just try and make the best of it. Its all about consistency.
Thankfully I can pin point and apply my favorite aspects of human feet to anthro paws and create a somewhat reasonable hybrid.

I'm happy that I'm capable of pulling it off to a degree that works for actual fans of anthro feet and your comments are great confirmation of this.
Who knows what Pigma will get up to when the rest of the team are asleep. He looks like he can barley contain his excitement as it is but I'm sure it wont be pretty.

I'm glad I could also confirm this for you, I tend to be very picky about how I prefer my anthro feetpaws, and well you aren't really wrong with the fact they make up the base for anthro paws. So I was a bit dumb in not realizing that. However sometimes I prefer my feetpaws to be more paw like without it becoming digitgrade. Which digitgrade legs and feetpaws kind of throw me off somewhat. ;v;
Well your reasonable hybrid is pretty much a solid one if you ask me. It can compete!....And conquer more like it. X3

I still want to see it happen even if its not pretty! Its building warmth up to the subject and its exciting to see what comes next! It makes it want to be complete with either shots of Fox's feetpaws being licked and sniffed, or just that one taking place with various shots of the toes being sucked or suckled on, or even in between his toes getting licked. Probably many many alternative scenes I can imagine for you. ;//v//;
I kind of get creative with those situations, however I will not say "I am the best with the creativity in that subject" because I am not and will always not be cause there may just be someone better. But if you do want some perspective maybe I can help. Unfortunately my words are my pen in drawing the view out for you. ;//v//;
Plus the only aspects I am listing are licking the pads and soles, the toes and in between, suckling/sucking on the toes (how many of the toes may vary), with it all being messily done up with saliva being all over Fox's feetpaws and toes, maybe a few bridges of saliva as they are spreading some or splaying, maybe a few very viscous saliva drops coming off his feetpaws from so much licking. Not sure how you'd want to go about it, plus there is an entire audience to satisfy and not just me so there is a lot to take into consideration. But I don't seem to see many pictures of feetpaws being licked from you other than the very old Bowser picture and the Godzilla picture. ;/v/;

Kinda strange isn't it.
He always seemed like one of the biggest names in the fandom and he gets extra representation for being the best fighter in Melee (PAL version).
But then Ive grown used to seeing missed opportunity like this and now its like my job to fill in the voids.

They should tickle his feet until they go red. They look dreadfully ticklish.

I don't think Fox can hide that fact either. Its even being displayed digitally for all to research. Just think how efficiently the team will be able to abuse him when they have all his weak points fully annalized.

Its a fairly bold and simplistic style as there is a lot going on and its good to keep things from looking too busy when there's so much to look at.

I have never played the games myself, but I always admired a lot of the fan work that surrounded these characters and there was never a shortage of McCloud paws that would reveal what was hidden behind his boots. I know the original idea of the amputated limbs was debunked, but all in all, I was always a fan of the ideas that he had some adorable feet in that footwear he would always spar. X3

Either way, I'm quite a fan of this piece and all you pieces for that matter. I really hope to see more wonderfully adorable and silly things from you in the future. So excited. Keep up the great work!

Sadly, I just woke up and in no shape to give this picture a comment that does it justice. All I'll say for now is: drawing good, you good artist, do good art, Starfox paws yay, keep up good work! :3

"Can't let you go untickled StarFox!" Now this is another grand picture, you sure did deliver! So much is happening here, so many men, so much activity in this room of merriness! And all of those colors spread all across this picture from the foreground to the background, all mixing together to blend into a seamless mixture. This is one way to disprove that footless theory for sure, go out and see for yourself! I find it funny that a super genuis such as Andross would even be astonished that Fox switched boots, but then the mind of a scientist is always making up new theories in his head, so perhaps because of that silly theory everyone else was talking about, maybe he felt that as a scientist, he needed to test a hypothesis of whether or not Fox (and the rest of his crew) are indeed legless or not. XD Well, and exploit a possible humilating weakness. This setup is fun, being tickled unmercifully in front of your enemies, especially your rivals! I can imagine that StarWolf is going to be rubbing this in for.....years to come, you know, since somebody is going to tell everyone in the Lylat system about Fox's ticklishness..and the fact he has feet to begin with. I can imagine Fox was trying to wear in his new shiny boots, wearing them constantly for a few days or weeks because he felt they were much more comfortable than his old ones. Getting his feet nice and tenderly acquainted. Now that Fox has them popped off, his feet are nice and tender after another flight, and being ambushed. The adaptation of thier designs are spot on Footpaw! They are exactly as they are in the artwork and games! You always show a lot of love to keeping to character~

Now isn't this delicious~ Fox is completely helpless, his beautiful fee getting the tickling they surely deserved as he certainly doesn't get tickled as much as needed. And I recently got most of the Star Fox games, so I can see what these characters were truly like. ^^ You made his feet look soft, what with those black pawpads that you can just squish your fingers into, and watch as his feet squirm a bit at the same time. And getting some giggles out of him would be cute too! As Leone scritches those two fingers right along his merry ole sole, I really find the toe holding cute. Perhaps he can make Fox blush even more by playing a silly game of This Little Piggy with each of his clawed toes. I certainly wouldn't mind giving them nuzzle myself, probably sending more ticklish sensations shooting thru his body. And....I kinda want to barrel Pigma out of the way. You know how I am about foot scents, and that face he is making as he has a bit of drool coming down his face....I can't tell if its just something he does, or if he really likes the smell of his boots fresh from his feet. (well, most likely, I'd just go to Fox's feet to find out the smell) The way he is holding that boot like its the best thing in the world with that...utterly satisfied expression to say the least makes me curious on just what those feet of his smell like. The computer Oikenny is monitering is full of detail, from weaknesses to heart rate to his current condition. I particularly like the image of not only Andross being on screen but also his n64 floating head self, like a little homage within a homage. I think Wolf should join in the fun, though I'm sure after some post examining of his going to soon be loony rival, he will do exactly that. I can imagine he'll stand right over Fox, kneeling his head down really close to Fox's flailing self, taunting him with words, as Fox's laughter then spikes an octave, bucking and thrashing more wildly as he feels some more fingers scittering across his tender armpits~ All while Fox has to bear it all...quite literally, as most of his clothes were thrown aside, probably getting this all on security camera too of Fox's defeet. Fox himself here is adorable, he is just a crying, wiggly fox that was in serious need of foot teasing fun. With him taking down his rivals so many times, he definitely needed some humble pie. Just look at him blow a gaskit with just the teasing of his poor cute feet! He must have been excruciatingly ticklish on those feet of his...and Leon hasnt even gotten to inbetween his toes yet! Eyes squeezed shut, tears pouring down his face, shaking violently against his restraints, all while those wires monitor his condition every second. Since you said Leon is the sadistic type, I can imagine that he shall be tickling his feet until he passes out from it all...and then start all over again once he wakes up. (Lucky fox gets all the attention)

.....call me a silly croc, but I already quite imagined all of them bootless too in my mind, fresh from thier discarded and heavily used boots~ And...I want to sniffle Fox's feet until I only see blurred images of his feet ad nasuem..and give those...toes some licking time. You made his feet so scrumptious looking, you always shove as much love and passion into feet as possible into your artwork. This is really awesome! Thank you for sharing this beauty!

That would certainly add another layer of torment to things... as if they weren't bad enough already. Still you gotta have a little fail safe encase the poor vulpine falls unconscious am I right. They are mostly to monitor his condition and tell everyone exactly how much he can and cant take.
I'm sure they will use this information to keep him right at his limits.

I do find the little touches can really add up to form a more meaningful picture even if a lot of these Easter eggs are just for a bit of fun. But like you mention with him being disarmed before hand, It helps make sense of things so that it feels more believable.

It's impossible to take a Starfox pilot's boots of. They are cybernetic implants which help them fly their jets. How could you not know this?!?

I could point out all the reasons that this theory is inconsistent at best, but whats most important first of all is to remember that the fans dont make the cannon. The game creators do.
So when Shigeru Miyamoto says that this wasn't an intentional part of his design, thats really all you need!

I'm just imagining the amount of time you spent on the lineart of this alone. That must've kept you incredibly busy, those are goals. Great pic, on both versions!

Ye it took a while. I felt that each character had a meaningful enough role to give them a space in the scene. Once its done its done though so you may as well put your all into it I guess.
