rindis, and I have been hosting world-building panels for several years now. Getting people thinking is exactly the goal, and by posting the hand-outs here as well as on my personal Web site, I hope to reach a broader audience. I too hope they will be cross-referenced, and perhaps even mentioned in journals and such.



Thanks for this history essay in particular. I usually end up using real-world history myself as an inspiration, whether I intend to or not, but this is still a tremendous help. I hate fictional worlds that seemingly sprang into existence a moment before the story began and end the second after it ends.
