This will probably come as no surprise to some of you who’ve seen my work so far, but I almost considered a completely different animal for my fursona here. What else? Why, a bat of course! I know right? Didn’t see that one coming! It never quite worked out, honestly. I never liked any designs I came up with and the one glaring similarity aside, personality/mannerisms didn’t really match the kinda guy I am.
Well, guess I can always suit one if I reconsider later? However, there’s one realism focused feature I’d practically demand for a suit like this, and while it’d be a blast, there’d clearly be other complications I’d need to take care of. Back to the drawing board.
And no, I honestly don’t know why I put so much effort into the background of this one. I have strange priorities.

Boy am I digging deep into my backlog for inspiration on this one. I’ve got quite a few old sketches of something like this at least 8-9 years old. It’s a little absurd a concept, but I always knew I’d be trying this kinda thing for a picture at least once

*Slides off the branch in a pretty steep fall at first but catches just enough of an updraft to soften the fall, while looking awesome at the same time.* Well, is the dignified enough for you Draco? *switches to Transylvanian voice while gliding* Flee, you lesser creatures of the night! Flee from your master and supreme hunter...
*Unfortunately, I stick the landing in a bunch of bushes, clambering out, brushing off and striking a pose worthy of darkwing duck.*

Rinzo sits on the branch above Nick and talks while holding his bat head, "It sure is a spooky head..." Rinzo said, holding it in his non-sharpened claws.
"It'd be a perfect choice for Halloween, you know?" He says, placing the head in a safe spot next to Nick. "My wings will come someday... I just gotta keep on doing the right thing."

Do dragons work that way? I think I know why Nightshade was in such a tough spot then. *puts the bat head on and wraps the wings in such a way it'll stay held on, and speaks in a Transylvanian accent* Your assistance is appreciated kind traveler, as is your suggestion. I will try to keep it in mind, come the hallows eve.
