I'm glad this page is up. I just had a visit I was totally unprepared for, totally unhappy with the outcome of, and it has left me very angry, disappointed, and hurt.
I need something to cheer me up. Getting answers, although I'll probably have to wait a week to get them, is encouraging.
Hugs
Also, I sent you a very important Note, but you've been so busy, and so backed up, you haven't read it yet. Suffice it to say, you are sooo super special, and you make my day.

Please, don't forget the YouTube's adaptation of Found (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCA.....riqBjlG-g53BSA) .
I wonder. Wasn't Gem's case about a murder trial? Her dream of it shows a Mr. Murdock, who looks like Jack.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who noticed this all. I came very late to this update (because of work) and surprised not much mention is made of that page.

That was Souffle who had his back turned. I don't know if we got to see Dr. Murdock's ponytail because we only saw the front of his face. But it was also a dream, so it could be some details were obscured so we wouldn't guess right away. But my first reaction to that page was he looked awfully like Jack. I believe it was on her deviantart gallery where the writer left a comment to pay attention to the colors in that dream.
Will we end the same way we started?

I have actually one prediction.
Jack isnt evil and/or there was never a "evil twin". Its all just a manifastation of Gems doubts. I mean she was almost certain that her family abandomed her and this "evil Jack" is only a manifastation of that. And now that she knows the truth she can step out of this doubts and walk into the light of knowledge and truth.
But why did he drug her? Well did you notice what was standing on the chart of the nurse? "Drug trial" aka testing a new medicament. Well remember what "evil Jack" was telling everbody in one of Gems Flashbacks? That he works and probaly found a medimantation for dementia witch involves the loss of memory. And now after he druged her she seems to remember stuff she long forgoten.. Coincidence? I THINK NOT. Im pretty sure what he gave gem is exactly this medicament for her to remember. Is it still an asshole move? Yes he gave her a not tested drug. Is it very dangerous? Yes how I said not tested drug. But I can see the good intention.
A small thing I also noticed for this (and it could be wrong because my english is not very good) that the "drug" they gave Gem seems to be called D42. Well after looking for D42 im pretty sure its not a real medicament. Could the "D" stand for Dementia?
So Im pretty sure Jack isnt as evil as Gem thinks he is.

He also appears here in Gem's dream of the trial:

As Mr. Murdock. Interesting?

I love this comic so so dearly. It's really helped to certain emotions that I have trouble dealing with come to the surface. I have to say that is comic touches so deeply for me that for every page that read...I've cried for hours after(this is a good thing) I truly do hope that Gem is finally able to find the happiness she so rightly deserves. *Hugs* thank you
Mr. Murdock. Where have I heard that name before?

Hmm, very interesting.

Just linking these together in case there's some reveal later. Then I can say I called it.
If it isn't and this all doesn't turn out to be related to anything, then it was still fun speculating.
Considering I am at the very bottom of this page this is probably a safe place to put this where no one will even notice this idea anyway.
1. Gem's dream trial. Murder trial. Mr. Murdock's first appearance:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/8407586/
Note brown eyes, short hairstyle. Stylized but still uncanny resemblance to this page:
2. Jack posing as patient in Gem's room: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/204.....#cid:111745041
He's got the same haircut. His bangs fall in the same general pattern. Only his face is more detailed. Same eye color.
3. He signs off on Gem's chart:

Latest mention of Mr./ Dr. Murdock:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/21019734
So either Mr. Murdock/ Dr. Murdock = Jack or whenever there is a bad person, a fear, or some threat, Gem generates the same mental image/ character to play that role. I'm leaning it being Gem's way of personalizing her fears, but the Mr. Murdock/ Doctor Murdock relation means she must have known the doctor before subconsciously or he had some tie in with her life before.

Taking a page from ICP:
Truth is always at a poopy time (Nowhere to run...)
Don't bother trying to run and hide (Nowhere to hide...)
Take their paws, cross to the other side (Nothing to fear...)
(Step to the other side!)
This must be it, Gem... (sigh) time's up.

My guess as to what's behind that door?
A vision (similar to the ones "Jack" showed her) of a collapsed, burned down house, with firefighters frantically sifting through the wreckage while an equally despondent Jack and Souffle watch. Eventually they uncover Nicole's dead (or, if that's too sad for you guys, unconscious and unresponsive) body, and as Jack runs up to get a closer look, they hear...crying. Sure enough, when they push some of the charred rubble aside, they discover Gem clutched in her arms, alive and surprisingly unharmed.
Obviously, present!Gem doesn't take this revelation well, but when she sees Jack snatch up her past self, she immediately starts to get a bad feeling in the pit of her gut. Between his gritted teeth and trembling hands, it clearly seems as if he's moments away from doing something...very unkind to her.
He doesn't. Instead, to (almost) everyone's surprise, he pulls her close against his chest and tightly embraces her, tears streaming down his face all the while. At this point, dream!Zee Zee explains that rather than blame Gem for what happened (presumably because Nicole would've been able to escape if she had left her behind), instead Jack came to realize just how much Nicole loved Gem, and how he had been hurting her by trying to force her to give her baby away.
Ultimately, the grief-stricken and guilt-riddled Jack decided to take care of children himself...with less than spectacular results. Eventually, thing got to the point where child services had to intervene, and the kids were taken away (as shown in detail in further dream visions). To make matters worse, because the authorities didn't trust Souffle enough to give him custody (under the pretense that he might try to use his and Jack's identical appearances to help his brother circumvent the judge's orders), the kids get put up for adoption and (naturally) end up being separated in the process.
