Why? Don't you just love all of the UST?
I'm not really trying to get them together here, it's just that Liz in invigorated by the fight, and Falco can see his old friend in them. Because of that she is willing to open up more then in the past. It tells us something about Falco, and about Liz, right before things go sideways.

Ah...the after math of the battle from the last chapter. Now there's a good place to come back from. (I'd usually be reading this faithfully, but given it's been disgustingly hot out lately, I lost drive to sit down and read...)
Now, reading in a third of the way.. I have to say this is the more interesting topic of conversations that I have to say Fox and Falco could have. Mainly because it's kind of a therapy session that seems to border on confessions here. Fox being female now having to deal with being attracted to and attracted by men and Falco even declaring he's one OF said men. Fox/Lisitza having to come to terms with that and saying 'it's odd' and still adjusting to it is what makes the story work as, again, it isn't just something people would magically adjust to in a few days.
Then this is halted with a single line that doesn't even give way to subtlety (Then again, it probably takes a blunt line like "I'm not interested in sleeping with anyone" outright to calm Falco down and plainly.) After some words about the conditions of the ship, it then goes to what would be the arrival of Andros.
Now, at first I thought it would have been a plot device, but that stopped when you put in hints of a fake Fox McCloud. That happened to be a clever trick and Fox/Lisitza had to watch a simulation of his former self..and realize what he could be doing. Naturally, he would get choked up about it and taken back despite what gender.
That was proven true with the last line of the two lines and that... happens to say some good story writing.
Again, old or not this is still keeping me entertained in reading~
