There was something that said that Dialga and Palkia were inspired by the Japanese creation gods: Izanagi and Izanami. I personally think Palkia is based on Izanami as they are both associated with water and Palkia has rather effeminate colors
IV-The Emperor: Dialga and Timer Ball
By process of elimination, Dialga seems to be based on Izanagi
V-The Hierophant: Xerneas and Nest Ball
One of the shoehorned characters as Yveltal will be found later in the set
