The Niray were one of the first alien species that I created. Unfortunately, the way that I designed species back then aren't how I would design species now, so they were in desperate need of a revamp.

I kept the same spirit of the species, so to speak. Similar coloring and they're still amphibious humanoid creatures with mammal characteristics.
The new design was more or less inspired by 1950s-1960s horror/sci-fi movie creatures, since I'm a fan of the campy hilarity of their designs, but I tried to make her a little more series, like something that may actually exist.

This lady would likely be a hunter or fisherwoman.
