More from Artex.
Experiments with India ink regretfully on sketchbook paper. Had to dampen and press the paper under a stack of heavy books to get the wrinkles out. Colored in photoshop and added the appropriate kind of paper as a texture. :p
...looking at it the horse doesn't seem to care too much about it's current predicament... probably because he wasn't under water in the initial sketch. oh well.

Ah, don't you just love it when you spontaneously experiment on sketch paper and then something actually turns out good? I certainly know the feeling, and I'm glad you went through all the extra steps to make sure that it still could be presentable after scanning since it's a beautiful picture. Good job!
