This is my fire lizard. He is my treasure, no matter what form he is in, and I will protect him with my life and will NEVER regret how and when I rescued him from the horrible situation he was in long ago. We've had our ups and downs, and while I now serve more of a mentor role to Charem, he is always and forever to me my beautiful little guy. I think of just how much we've been through every time I see this picture, and while we've never had the perfect relationship, I wouldn't trade a thing. Nothing. I am a greater person for knowing Charem and having him, holding him, and loving him, and I only hope that I have inspired and will continue to inspire and encourage him to love others as I love him, and to be the best person he can, whenever he can, however he can.
I've said it many times, and I'll say it again. Thank you for everything Charem, and may your flame always stay bright be you charmeleon, shadox, and all forms in between. <3
