A man and his girl
The Naakaanee aren't just a wolf head on a human body... They are deeply empathic, as intelligent as we are and more, and also deeply emotional.
As he holds her close, her body melts into his chest. A soft sigh escapes through his lips as he feels her soul connect with his. She closes her eyes, exhaling through her nose. Their body heat begins to mingle as their heart beats synchronize.
In perfect peace together, he holds his love, his life. Protecting her. Caring for her. Being there for her through every single step of life.

Unfortunately, I haven't found a good way of dealing with it. People do hurt me and take advantage of me. They also see my kindness as a weakness. In the end, I just kinda take it and move on, which isn't a good thing. I end up resenting it later. I guess this is on my "to do" list with my personality. If you've got any suggestions, I'm all ears.
Over the years in the upstairs and downs (!!!) of my relationship with Jesus, I was transformed from a misanthropic drug dealer into a much nicer person. Part of the last bit of healing I've been going through is true Empathy and understanding of my fellow man, and more than that, seeing their pasts and understanding the insecurity, the pain, the weakness... The reasons people lash out and say and do stupid things or mean things. That doesn't mean I don't still want to go for the throat, but it helps me to understand a little better when I know in my heart and spirit that they are tore up and even more confused than I am.
