Continuing my series of photo-ops with famous personalities, here I am with famed sci-fi/fantasy author Isaac Asimov - taken at the Creation Convention in NYC, Circa the late 1980s. (I'm assuming it was taken in 1988, as my jacket is partially adorned with "Roger Rabbit" buttons.) The famous Russian-born writer (of such works as "I, Robot" and the "Foundation" stories) was kind enough to autograph one of my copies of the science-fiction digest named after him (which, coincidentally, had an anthropomorphic story in it by one of its many contributors). Mr. Asimov passed away in April, 1992 (less than four years after this picture of us was taken)...
