After what turned out to be a very disappointing day, I decided to put my foot down and start doing the construction of My New Fursuit, Bucky-Boy 2.0. Which is going to be based on the concept art 2.0.2. This is about as far as I thought I would get after working on it for about 3 hours. I didn't realized that foam was that much of a pain in the ass to cut. Doing this sort of crafting is all new to me, so if the project doesn't work I will probably look into getting one built in the future. With the first one, there is going to be lots of trials and errors.

Yes, electric carving knife is great. Hot wire should only be used for solid foam and we'll ventilated.
You might try an 'orange' dome type cut to get the head shape. Imagine an orange and cut down the slices, then use those rounded triangles to form up the dome...if that makes sense?
