I'm not sure if the bulls objection might do much good if the cannibals don't care much for the finer points of dining etiquette or they might decide to eat him first and leave the boar tied there for the next day's meal. Though maybe the cannibals might consider the bulls point, and discuss amongst themselves which to eat first giving bull and boar chance to escape.
