Grendel's Mother

One of my models for Warhammer 40k. Felt like taking a Giant from Warhammer Fantasy and fool around with it with some green stuff modeling putty. I call it Grendel's mother, usually field it as a Great Daemon.

Heheh, great to hear. Skaven right? Also, I remember at a hobby store I saw a guy with a Beastman army made up of minostaurs modeled as werewolves, it was awesome.

yeah, my idea is to take the giant and make a rat ogre of some sort. Might be a Golden Demon entry one day, I dunno ^^

Half and half, I made the head out of a dragon skull from the Giant model plastic sprue, and sculpted the fur on the Giant using a modeling putty.

I've also been working on a greater deamon. I'm converting one from the Be'Lakor model.

Looks good! Takes skill to greenstuff such a face...

The face took some work, but luckily a dragon skull came with it, making the teeth much easier to deal with.

That my friend was during the Olympics, so they had a bunch of foreign languages printed on the sides.
