A portrait once hung from the walls of the Dyzenza capital's castle. Painted in recognition of Baldric's service and loyalty to the crown as one of the Umbral Knights, a black ops group that work in secret to perpetuate a military necessity by inciting conflicts by key assassinations or instigations.

Known for his talent with the Umbral magic and proficiency with a sword carried over from his previous role as a rank-and-file knight of the order, Baldric became known for a surprisingly strong, concrete will with a bitter demeanor that was a stark contrast to his old ways: a friendly, willful family man.

Last seen going further afield across nations, Baldric was sent to 'remove a key figure' with two knights at his charge, to both scout them for talent and to have backup should something happen.
