Been practicing here and there with my tablet, and after taking a look at the old ref sheet that I had done with my mouse and the line tool in SAI, I decided that I should put my tablet (and my own hands) to the test by drawing a new ref sheet... and holy hell, was there an improvement!

Not too much has changed with Neo. His bangs are a tad longer, and his hair is definitely a fair bit longer. He's now got 5 fingers on his hands and 4 digits on his feet as well. The biggest change has to be his name though; while his last name has been Crescendo since I joined SecondLife years ago, I felt that he deserved something a bit more fitting to the backstory I had started him with so long ago... so I ended up changing it to Fedorov; a more-common Russian last name.

I've also finally gotten to draw a cowboy hat and duster for the first time! The duster wasn't too difficult, and it's gotten some updating of its own as well. The cowboy hat... well, that's still bugging me at this point. It's hard to draw a proper "Gambler", what with the wide brim on it and whatnot, but I did my best with it!

So... yeah, new nicer-looking ref sheet. Huzzah.

As for a bit of backstory to Orion: he's a Russian character that flees to America after some traumatic events in his hometown. Touching down in New Jersey, he soon makes a close friend out of Luke Aston (and is pretty much stuck with the skunk clinging to him like a needy girlfriend). Maybe someday I'll properly write out how everything goes down to better convey Orion's character...
