The temperature at the centre of a trinitrotoluene explosion is calculated at 2900 degrees centigrade at the C-J point. To be a billion times hotter than this would mean the pair have a temperature of 2.8e+16 degrees centigrade (28 quadrillion). They are among the hottest object in the observable universe, instantly ignite the air surrounding them, and flash boil the rocks they're standing on into plasma. They melt a hole in the ground and descend to the earths core unimpeded, vapourising everything around them. Eventually with a little help from Earth's gravity the pressure conditions raise to the point where fusion occurs. The earth temporarily becomes a sun, before evaporating after a few million because the temperatures they generate are too high to allow it to stabilise.
However, if we consider that the statement was to be applied before detonation of the TNT, which works out as 2.5e+10 degrees centigrade... then they instantly ignite the air surrounding them, and flash boil the rocks they're standing on into plasma. etc.
That's my take, anyway. I'm not sure how the standard model of physics holds up the sudden temperature variations like that.
Also they're so cute!! n.n
