I always admire any art done with watercolor as the medium. I had to do a watercolor project in 10th grade art class and it was near impossible! I suck at handling brushes. :/

But this, this is spectacular. I commend you. ^_^

The contrast of the eyes and mouth against the gold face and mane is textbook-perfect! Even so, the subtle variations of the mane and shadows gives them an authority that would be missing in a more subdued treatment.
