The landsharks are so amazing...god, I really want to see my character(s) done up as them. Or maybe just create a whole new one for this express purpose.

Now that is an awesome Eel hat, I always thought they were a hair style not a hat. You seem like you had alot of fun drawing this caracter, the colors on him and the eel are great and lively. He has a cat like apperance to himself, like a Siamese.
The background design is done very well for the pose. It has a way of blocking out the character and his pose.
