A group called the... Wonderland gang, I think? run a weird coffee shop, and Origami went there to investigate something. He drank some rather nice tea, and ended up passing out.
He woke up in the back room of the restaurant drugged out of his mind, and seeing everything around him as if he were in Wonderland, and he was the cheshire cat.
After the team saved him from the back room of doom, he had adopted weird catlike tendancies, and when he confronted the group asking "Hey, Now that I'm a cat, it doesn't make things weird does it?" Most of the team ignored the question, but one of them said something to the effect of "Eh, it's whatever."
So for the rest of the game, he was under the impression that he WAS INDEED the cheshire cat, and all of his paper control powers changed aesthetically to represent that.
