i thought so aswell at first, but if it came sudden, a tumor is really unlikely. cancer needs time to grow.

i just don't want to spread panic where it is unnecessary. it is impossible from the picture alone to tell what is inside that egg. it could be just a bruise, even more likely, if she doesn't want it to be touched or don't want to be touched in general and suddenly changed in habbit (which was writen in the journal). the only thing to do is to get the cat to a vet and get it checked.

I understand I'm just taking precaution the only problem now she lost strength in both her legs now so I'm thinking trama if it was cancerous that's the fastest spreading cancer I ever seen

Yeah I pet her every day but it happen suddenly I just found it yesterday and right now she doing so poor I'm scared I think she got kick by someone so now I will never let my cats outside ;~; until I move out the city to the country side

I'm so sorry :c We can't let ours out around here thanks to coyotes and reckless drivers, cats are tough little things, but not invulnerable unfortunately.

While not to sound depressing that cat's like...As old as I am, which is crazy. If it turns out something life threatening at least you cared for her for a super long time.

We had to put our dog down suddenly one morning due to a tumor basically outta nowhere. It was tough. I hope all goes well.

Looks really bad. I so much hope that the vet can do something for her. And she is really old for a cat what shows that she had a really good life so far and hopefully a lot more years to go.

With a cat that old, and a lump that big, the amount of surgeries might even be too much for her. My cat got cancer at 15yrs, lumps all over her chest/upper arms and near her throat. We had it removed twice and it still came back a third time. Not even in a full year. In the end, we couldn't help her. She passed underneath my bed while I was at work, and nothing pains me more to know I wasn't there for her last moments. I hope that whatever may happen with you and your cat, you have the strength to get through it with her.

Cancer can happen very quickly, cancer is not always visible in either humans or animals.

A year before this, I had to take my six year old Marmalade to the vet for the last time because he had lymphoma and an unoperable golfball size tumor in his belly. I have to ask, how did your kitty turn out?

And though I wasn't planning on having two cats, a month after Marmalade left, my sister managed to catch a kitten that someone abandoned at her workplace (too calm to have been wild born) and he had noplace to go besides a kill shelter
