Some of you may remember me mentioning gamemaking in a journal a while back, well, this is the initial design for the player character :D

The ability of the main character is to go into a state called "Dreamwalk", where they fall into a trance and use a baton to 'conduct' the state of the souls around them. The baton has spiral chambers in it that create different tones as it is swung in the air at certain angles, and is self-harmonizing. Using this power, the main character can cause souls to feel elated and friendly, or despairing and dark, to the point they fall apart. The energy the character uses to carry out these effects are raw essences of elemental energy that can either commune or combat the soul it touches.

The main character takes a tribal native american appearance (specifically inspired by the Crow/Apsáalooke tribe) due to only having been exposed to in depth spirituality from their Crow Nation native grandmother. Upon dying, the main character grasps onto the closest thing they know of spirituality, and take on this appearance. The character themself is half Crow Native from their mothers side and Caucasian from their fathers side.
