No doubt the resident hippopotami thought to unleash an onslaught of their own against the crocodilian monster that was sunbathing near the river. But really, considering his size, it was the crocodile that has unleashed an onslaught upon them rather than the other way around. And it is always nice to encounter something that is large and meaty that provides a good meal for a large, carnivorous reptile such as Tarvash.

very lovely scene and I really like how Tarvash looks in this.
I have to ask though, was this inspired a bit by the commission I did of him for you as well? with the background and lighting, I mean. I really love it, the artist did a wonderful job showing the morning or evening light and how it looks upon the magnificent reptile.
Also I love the idea of crocodiles getting their revenge against hippos. as you know they tend to be enemies in the wild. at least these hippos won't pose a threat to this Nile Crocodile at all.
