8/365: Five Fingers of the Earth (Alternate: Arches of Triumph)
A half-assed attempt at scene development/concept art. Though, I would like to go back and do more. Like the previous day's design, this landscape relates to a potential story (that is heavily fantasy ).
The Five Fingers of the Earth are a series of arches that stretch along this landmasses eastern seaboard. While four are only shown in the picture, there are five. And they are considered very sacred to the people who live near them, and (though not shown) have many carvings... which glow when the light hits them, due to the crystaline nature of what is underneath. Each Arch is considered connected to a different facet of magic and nature.
If only the heroine of our story knew what mysteries hide within the ferocity of the wild world she comes to encounter. Outside of a hippie dippie werewolf, an odd flying man, and a sentient rat.... there's not a lot of friends out there. Especially not the individual from Day 7.
It's all mine bro.
