Ah, my mistake. I won't deny that I'm still fairly new to DS as a whole.

First time I tried playing, several months ago, it took me no less than 70 deaths to beat the tutorial boss in DS3. Or at least, as close to a tutorial as this game gets.

Anyways, it wasn't until I picked back up again recently that I managed to decently whoop the mutated blob statue thing; less than 10 deaths to beat it! :D
