Simplicity does not have to mean crude or basic. Sometimes elegance comes without the frills. Zera is definitely of the personality to keep things simple and practical, but she can still impress with the right dress. Perhaps it's an important or formal occasion of some kind. With a light blue, a simple patterning, and a style that fits her unique body she can go from huntress and warrior to a breathtaking sight at any sort of event. Not one to crave being the center of attention, even Zera can appreciate something so comfortable made just for her.

A while back I jumped on the opportunity when Sidian opened for speed paintings. Sidian has been one of my favorite artists for a while, and was also one of the first artists that helped me discover the fandom. The quality and care in how she applies features to her characters is very apparent, and she takes considerable care in how she proportions different characters and species to make them actually fit that species they use as a basis.

I simply gave Sidian some refs and told her to design Zera a new outfit and gave her total freedom. The result is this incredible image with a beautiful, simple, understated outfit that captures a wild, yet refined appearance that fits Zera's style and personality perfectly. Not to mention it makes physical sense and looks rather comfortable. Sidian has been coming up with ways to dress anthros for a while and her skill is quite apparent. Every small detail in Zera's markings and features is done so well and her expression and body language are great. Is she showing off? Is she a little self-conscious? Either way she looks happy with it. I just love the blue, I can't think of another color that would have looked so good on her. Thanks to Sidian for designing something so beautiful! It was such a pleasure to finally have something so nice from one of my favorite artists.
