Dance of the Veils

Painting done with Heather Bruton. I'm on the right, and Heathers is on the left. Interesting to see how different we approach a similar subject matter. Heather did her sketch first, and then shipped it to me. From there I started the painting and sent it back to her to finish her side of the painting. 11x17 pencil on illustration board.

Saying that this phenomena doesn't do it justice. I hope you and Heather enjoyed doing this because I think you both did REALLY good on both this piece, and your other collaborations.

When doing the robes, did you start with the dark colours and highlight from there or did you start light and added the shades on top of that? The effect looks incredible.
