Holy shit! I've never seen a better edit! Did you strip it and paint it or fleece it or four it or what!?

I'm not asking so I can do it lol I'm just trying to figure it out!

- I seam ripped the gross stock fur from the foam face
- The skin was given new life/ markings with a mixture of acrylic paint and liquid latex. The latex is important because it allows the "skin" to maintain its elastic quality.
- I was going to repaint the teeth and the gums to be more realistic, but I kind of like how the fully saturated colors look with the rest of the color scheme. BUT, if I did : they would have been sanded with a high grit sand paper or steel wool ( to give it a little more surface for the paint to stick to) , painted and then clear coated.
- The hood was replaced with good quality black fur, I got mine from and old faux fur coat. And then attached to the "skin face" by hand sewing into the foam.
- The ears are just normal fabric ears , but have weights inside to keep the shape. Plus it adds a cute floppy movement.
- as you can see from the above link I had plans to attach glass/resin eyes.... but I never actually got around to it.

Oh wow thanks for the info! I do have one of these masks and would love to do something with it and yeah those has been a huge help in how to actually go about it especially the painting of the skin, I'd never have thought to do a mix of latex lol, what is the ratio of latex to acrylic?

I just eyeballed it, but I would say close to 50/50. If anything a little more heavy on the latex side.
