Amethystine the Author, by Bakasam
A very nice commission done for me by
Bakasam
Go give her praise on the original submission here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2101776/
I really really (really!) like this piece. It's the first full picture of me in colour, so maybe now people will stop thinking I'm either 'stereotypical snake green'.. or some kind of purple, thanks to my name.
The colouration and patterning in this picture are a bit simplified from the 'real thing', shown here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/176896/ Either way, though, I think she made me look extra tasty. :}===<
Clearly hard at work on a new story, laying down in a natural snake position. Standing up straight and sitting in chairs and what not is for people with legs, after all. And hard on my back. :P

Thanksss, Jizzzzal. :}===<
I agree, but I don't have too much to say, so I hope you extend your kind words to Bakasam, as well. She deserves all the credit, I didn't even specifically ask for a picture of me writing! I only mentioned it as a possibility. The greatness of this piece is entirely her delightful doing. :}

Sweet, thanks! And thanks for the fave, but you really should tell Bakasam that, and give her that fave, right here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/2101776/
But maybe you already are doing so, or already did.. and I'm just too fast for my own good!
I concur, as I also imagined said tail-swaying action.. and tongue flickery during fantastical fairytale formulation. :}===<

It's not all THAT regular. I tend to make a new icon when I have a new picture, so I can use the new Ame-face from the latest picture as a new icon.. but then I'll think 'time to go back to a classic.'
I went back to the icon that came from the picture above recently because I had been using Ames-Sond-based icons for so long, I thought it was time to be normal Amethystine again.. and this pic is also one I associate with me as a writer, and when I switched to this, I was trying to get back into writing mode.
But, you actually remember seeing this picture come up, back in 2009 and you also remember this one somehow alerting you to the fact of my icon changing? Wow! O:
Also, I try to make an icon from every picture I have, because they all go into the grid, eventually: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26999285/
The grid on display in that link right now is 18 by 18, but I already have the 19x19 version done, haha! I just wanted to wait until more of the source material is posted, so I have something to link to, in the box below.
