Shadow: WTH?! D<
Yes, you can see her thumb through his face. He tends to go intangible when he's stressed, especially emotionally. XD
This is Lindsay and Shadow. Lindsay is the Jolteon and an elite agent of Team Rocket. Shadow is the Haunter with Gengar traits and a mere Hall Monitor for Team Rockey. In this picture, she is portrayed as 18 and Shadow is 16. This is because pokemon age differently from humans, and though Shadow was experimented on first, ghosts can't really age. She was initially a Jolteon before she was experimented on, and came to become infatuated with a pokemon-fearing human specimen called Shawn Darrow. Shawn later lost his memories due to his own experimentation and became the Haunter morph he is today with no memories of his past life as a human except that he was one.
Lindsay the Jolteon, eager to find out what had become of Shawn, finally submitted to the experimenting she had escaped from and became a morph. However, as a pokemon become human, she went a little crazy. Her pokemon self saw Shawn as a future trainer, while her new human brain recognized him as a love interest. Either way, Shadow had become the ghost of Shawn and, with little left of the human in him, she soon became confused. She hated the ghost-morph, for she considered him the murderer of her beloved Shawn Darrow. However, Shadow was all that was left of Shawn, and at the times when she could see flickers of the old human in him, she became filled with desire and longing.
This picture portrays one of those times when Lindsay had randomly taken a fancy to her otherwise hated adversary. Shadow, who had never really been aware of her feelings for Shawn in the first place, couldn't understand her hatred, and was thus even more bewildered at her advances toward him. It was some time after the Rockets were defeated that Shadow even discovered why Lindsay hated him so.
You may recognize Shadow from http://www.furaffinity.net/view/1447059/. I haven't drawn him in a long time. As for Lindsay, she's been my creation for just about as long as he has, but I've drawn far less pictures of her. Why? Because ever since her creation in the summer 2005, I've only ever drawn three pictures of her; this being her third one. And she's never before been colored.
I find this strange because the first picture, which was much like this one, went missing. It was one of my first anime pictures ever. Then I drew this one in my sketchbook. But as soon as I finished sketching this one, my whole sketchbook with that picture in it disappeared! XP I hope I get it back. I think Lindsay's cursed. She was my main villian/antagonist in my initial Team Rocket Pokemorphs rp.
